January 2016 Meeting at Brick's

Join us Thursday, January 21st at Bricks Bar & Grill for our monthly meeting.
Social begins ~7:00
Meeting will begin ~8:00

Turn in your entries of American Stout for the January Club Competition.

Standard rules for competition entry should be followed. http://www.crbeernuts.org/phpBB3/viewto ... f=7&t=2677

-Two unmarked 12oz or one bomber/750ml bottle without adornment. If your cap has markings on it please deface them

-Bottles should be clearly marked and the Bottle ID form is recommended to be used.

Please attach the form to the bottles using a rubber band. No tape please.

Same rules as usual, Public is welcome. You may bring home brew to share or for critique. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
In the Fridge/On Tap: English Bitter, Schwarzbier, Cream Ale
In the keg: Wheat Beer, Russian Imperial Stout
In the bucket:
In the queue: Irish Red, American IPA

I have the milk crate and printed 20 entry forms that I will put in there for you Daryl. Should last a while. I think we will need judging forms though.

Bummer.. my Stout needs about two more weeks. :) Thought it would but I sampled some and it's green. No luck.

See you guys there tonight. I have a year old mead and a bottle of Korean Makkgeolli (which might be an acquired taste for most) to sample.

can't hurt to bottle a couple, it can carb and age while waiting for the judging.

I agree. Judging will probably be a few weeks out. Takes some time to get folks together for it.
