I had this thought but it seems like some strangers may be less likely to attend in someone's house. Last year we had a bunch of random people show up because they just happen to be downtown.Matt F wrote:We did a big Brew day years ago at a members house in his large garage. Had a nice turnout with about 30 people. Only 20 were members at the time. Had three different systems going including mine. That was fun.
I agree with all of this.Steven P wrote:Don't forget new locations for the club meetings. Chris at Quarter Barrel has explicitly asked that we schedule a meeting at their location. As they have a brewhouse I think it's a great idea.
Despite the mixed reviews about Another Road I think they deserve a shot once their new location is open. They have a new brewer who is working out the kinks.
Turner Alley is going to have their taproom open in February the last I heard. They would be the perfect location for a beer club meeting.
Also, Quinton has mentioned to me several times about doing a wort rally type of event using Disaster at Meux wort. I don't have all the details but I'm definitely going to get in on that once announced.
