The club plans to host a Beer Nuts Happy Hour at Lion Bridge on Sunday, April 24th.
We will be pouring from 3 PM to 5 PM.
What is needed:
1) Volunteer workers; 2 minimum, but 3-4 would be good
2) Beer contributions; in bottles and/or growlers; kegs are acceptable but you will need to bring everything you need to dispense from your keg/kegs - LB can provide with some ice. We will pour for two hours, and in 2 oz samples; so we will not need tons of beer, but it would be nice to have 4-6+ varieties that we could offer. And, if you like, we can go past 5 PM, but that will be up to the volunteers and I would cut it off no later than 5:30 or 6:00 PM - it is up to you.
You can volunteer to pour and not contribute beer; you can contribute beer and not attend (but please provide us with a description of your beer and/or recipe and any other information you think someone would be interested in knowing about your beer).
Please respond to this post, to volunteer your time and/or beer.
Let's meet at LB around 2:30 PM to set-up and be ready to go at 3 PM.
It has been suggested, and I agree, that one way to improve your brewing skills is to seek every opportunity that you can to pour and share your work with others. This one of those opportunities provided by your club and you will have at least one opportunity each month, to do so.
And remember, bringing beer and pouring at this April event will enter you in the year-end drawing for a $50 gift certificate from BIY.
As always, don't be shy to PM me with questions/concerns/suggestions.
Cheers,
Daryl

I should be able to pour and bring some beer that day. I have some bottles of a Stout and a Black IPA left.

I will check when I get home to see if I have enough Irish Ale left. I can help pour.
If I get a break, I should have the English pale ale ready that I brewed for Benz.

Is LB doing anything to promote this? I don't see any mention on their web or FB pages.

I can pour. I have a split batch of ale/lager. I could bring a keg of one or the other, or fill growlers of both. Or I could eat fish tacos and drink beer with Daryl. I'm pretty flexible.

Another Beer Nuts Homebrew Happy Hour is in the books.
Thanks to brewers Cal, Mark, Randy and Tony for sharing and pouring their brews.
It was a nice day and LB had a good crowd. Our Brewfest cards were distributed and I think we made a few friends and maybe one or two members.
Next up will be Sunday, May 29 - which will be Memorial Day Weekend (thanks Karl

The next one is Memorial Day weekend. We might have a larger than usual crowd. And, I believe that the Sunday is the 29th.
