Now I may not be sending beer to the festival. I've been asked by my family to bring beer to our annual golf outing this weekend and I only have one portable beer dispenser and C02 tank. Looks like you might be in pretty good shape for beer without me anyway.

It looks like we will have enough beer. Please continue to add to the list if you so desire.

--Tony; 6 liter keglet of red wheat
--Larry; keg Belgian Golden Ale, Raspberry Porter
--Matt; 3/4 keg smoked porter
--Tom; 2 gallons of "Hair of the Goat" Doppelbock, 2 gallons of a Farmhouse Ale if I can get the blend right.
--Dave; Hefe maybe some Rye Pale Ale
--Jeremy; keg Russian Imperial Stout, keg Baltic Porter
--Derek; keg Belgian Brown
--Tom T: 1/2 keg alt, 1/2 keg dubbel
--David A: 1 case American IPA

Also, RIDES! I plan to drive down. I am picking up Larry and David Ard and giving Dave Coughlin a ride home. I could probably take one or two more so let me know if people need some car pooling action. I want to get out of town around 11 and be heading to the fest. I also tend to like to hang out for a little while when it is all over.

Matt,

Matt Janechek will be at my house Sunday morning and we would both like
to ride with you. I hope that is OK. If not, we will take our own car.

Matt,

The wife is taking me out there, however since she is pregnant, don't think she is willing to spend the entire day out there. Would you be willing to give me a ride home?

Yes to Dave and Jeremy.

For the ride down I will pick up Matt and David and then go get Larry.

Recap:
Ride down to Amana
--David A
--Matt J
--Larry

Ride back
--David A
--Matt J
--Larry
--Dave C
--Jeremy O

That fills my car. If I leave one side of the third row up we should be able to bring back our kegs and what not too.

Iowa hops and Iowa Festival of Beers had a TV news segment on KCRG this week. Here is the link to watch it if you missed it.

I got a call from that guy this morning.  He asked if I'd be interested in any fresh hops.  I said not this year due to my strange situation with the boiler and what not.  I did mention that maybe some of you guys/gals might take some off his hands.

OK, well I (and my kegs) are looking for a ride down. The wife plans to show up later, so she can haul me home.
If anyone else has room, let me know. I'm on the SE side, but can meet up pretty much anywhere.

Thanks,
-Tom T.

Tom T, I can give you a ride down but won't have room for the ride back which looks like it works for you. What is your address? I am also on the SE side and could pick you up at 10:15 AM. I want to make sure we get our typical back corner again because it provides a nice shaded spot in the afternoon. Here is my ride list along with pick-up times. Be ready to roll so we can load up and get on the road quickly.

Ride down to Amana
--Tom T - 10:15
--David A - 10:30
--Matt J - 10:30
--Larry - 10:45

Ride back
--David A
--Matt J

528 Forest Dr.  I can swing by your house, too, if it's more convenient.  Thanks!

I know where that is. I can pick you up so you don't have to mess with a vehicle later in the day when you get picked up by your wife. I will be at your house at 10:15.
