The last time we did this we all met at the Wal-Mart parking lot in Marion. Good location for heading out of town to Madison on Hwy-151. I can't make this one so you all do what you like.

Here is a general itinerary you can adjust as you go. Basically gets you to a lunch starting at Vintage on the West side of town. Then you head to the east side starting in the area around the hotel. You all decide when is a good time to drop off the van. Then you work your way back towards downtown. I attached a map also. Second page is wider Madison area and first is the Downtown Stumbler. It is a guide to stumbling around downtown. Enjoy folks.

Who's picking up the van? If it's someone in CR area, then I suggest meeting somewhere convenient for the towner's, then heading to my place, which is a pretty direct shot off of 151. The McCalls can come here too. Or if you'd all rather we can all meet here.

Unless we're getting picked up I'd rather leave it at the McCall's or Randy's.

I am picking up the van Friday night and bringing it home.

Plan on meeting at my place by 8:15 AM and we will plan to depart by 8:30 AM.

Still working out the details on which places to hit first. around mid afternoon, I plan to check into the hotel and then hit the breweries and pubs UBER-style.

More details to follow.

Address:
3185 Springville Road, Springville, Iowa 52336.

Our property is on the Southeast Corner of Springville Road and County Home Road.

The simplest way to get to my house...
Drive north on HWY 13 from Marion;
Turn right/East on the County Home Road; you will hit a 4-way stop sign in Whittier
One mile west of that 4-way stop, Turn right/South on to Springville Road;
Our drive way will be the first one on the left

More details to follow.
In the Fridge/On Tap: English Bitter, Schwarzbier, Cream Ale
In the keg: Wheat Beer, Russian Imperial Stout
In the bucket:
In the queue: Irish Red, American IPA

Today is the day campers!

Head on out to the farm...wheels up at 8:30 AM.

The village of New Glarus is having a festival; so the Hilltop Brewery may be just fine. They are doing an R&D release today, details below. And Curdgirl will be there starting at 11 AM!

T-minus 90 minutes and counting....

From the New Glarus events website:
This year we are planning three of Dan’s Limited Release brews! All three releases will be at the brewery’s Hilltop facility. The first will be June 10th & 11th and will coincide with Polka Fest and Beer, Bacon and Cheese in the Village of New Glarus. The second will be August 12th &13th to coincide with the Great Taste of the Midwest. The third and final release will be September 23rd & 24th (Octoberfest in New Glarus). Each event will feature a different beer from the Wild Fruit Cave. There will be a limited number of bottles released each day and a two bottle per person limit. $10.00 a bottle includes tax and cash is appreciated, but not necessary. Sales will begin no later than 9:00 AM. Each release will be one single R&D beer. If you want all three of the 2016 R&D beers, you will need to attend all three releases.

Anybody happen to get Rictus Grin from Ale Asylum? It is a new seasonal from them and a Belgian Pale Ale of which we do not have many fresh examples to compare to in our area.
