Belgian Pale Competition

Post by carrisr »

I haven't heard anything on the judging of the Belgian Pale comp. Is that happening soon? These are not going to be getting better with age...

I would guess after the festival, but I've been known to be wrong before.

I'll throw my hat in to either judge or steward. I didn't submit a beer, so no bias here.

While on the subject of beer judging - what happened to the result of the wort rally with Lion Bridge? Did Quinton and Alec finish judging the beers?

Daryl takes care of the comps and is currently across the pond. He has some great commercial examples in his possession including fresher craft beer examples from here in the US. When he gets back, and shortly after the fest, we will get on with the judging. Bottle turn in was 20 days ago so I hope the shelf life on entries is not a concern yet.
