Festival Web App

Post by carrisr »

The Cedar Rapids Beer Nuts have a cool web app for logging in beers being poured at festivals. It now supports multiple events, so we'll update it for events we're pouring beers at. You can log in or create a new account at http://crbeernuts.herokuapp.com. The main display page won't show the next event until 30 days out, but you can enter your beers at any time. Just make sure you are entering them for the correct festival.

Hey guys/gals: If you are entering beers into the app that are not in kegs, please make a note of it in the title of the beer to make it more obvious. For example "My Super Big Beer (Bottles)". We use the app to help plan our tap lists, so it's really helpful to know if a beer is not kegged. Remember, you can go back and edit your beers at any time if you change from keg to bottles. We pull the list a few days prior to the fest.

Thanks!

So, as usual, the last time I used that app was before I started to use a password manager....and.. eh I don't have a clue at what the last password I used was.

I can't seem to use the forgot password link, I get the e-mail, but when I use the link it I get an "invalid reset password token". I suppose I can go ahead and use a different e-mail address, but I'd rather not. Can whomever administers this help me out?

Thanks,

Fred

The password reset issue is hopefully fixed. Try it again. Don't use the link sent in email from before, have the app send you a new link.

Yup, worked fine, thanks much!

I added two beers and a wine. I haven't backsweetned the wine yet or even tasted beer #2. If they suck they are coming anyway!

Cheers!

Dave has also added some more features to the app:

2015 BJCP beer styles. You can now choose between 2008 or 2015 styles.
Drop down menu to view past and future festivals
You can now sort your own beers in the Manage my Beers list and do searches.
