I have moved all 5 of my kegs from Saturday into the BBQ and Brew festival. I also added a short-keg of traditional mead.

I cannot attend the festival. So I need to hand off my kegs to someone. I can pick them up the next day ad Lion Bridge. So we can pour whatever is left Sunday afternoon as well.

If we don't think the two sour beers will go over well, I can keep those home.

Somehow when I shut my fridge door, the cobra tap was pushed open, and it pushed out all 5 gallons of carbonating beer. I'd squeezed a 6th keg in my beer fridge, and it was apparently a little too cozy in there.

I made two beers with one mash, based (almost completely) on the 8-wire Saison Sauvin, made with nelson sauvin hops (and a little moteka), with only first wort and whirlpool hops. One with the sauvin, bitter and more flavorful, the other with saaz hops, with just a bit more water to bring down the alcohol level, mellow and subtle. I thought it would fun to compare the two in Independence...but it was not to be.

I say bring the sours and give little pours. It's a tasting event, some will want to try the sours.

I am willing to meet and take up whatever...and I'll bring it back to lion bridge on Sunday.

Where and when do you want to meet Thurday or Friday afternoon (Andrew, Pat, Karl)?

I'm willing to meet anywhere we can have a celebratory pint as we make the handoff. I suggest Lionbridge Brewing since the have been supporting this event and our Jimmy Carter happy hour each month.

I can meet anywhere Thursday or Friday after work. Lionbridge at 5 or a bit after works well for me.

Sorry, guys, but I will not be bringing beer to this years Brew-B-Q. I want to walk around with my family and try everything. Can't wait to try everything, though!

I remembered that I have a conflict on Friday. So I can meet up at Lionbridge on Thursday after work.

As there are already 14 kegs and 5 bottles showing for Independence on crbeernuts.herokuapp.com, should I even bother making up growlers for mine?
If the expected crowd/demand warrants more, I will, but otherwise I'm still too busy to even pick hops this week :(

Hey Derek, thanks for helping to assemble the beers. I have the Jockey Box and will bring the Corny Taps.

We might need to break into the Trailer and get a couple of the large totes to put kegs/beer/ice in to keep the brews cold. I think I can bring enough pin locks to cover 1-2 kegs.

I can also bring CO2...or we can get that from the trailer as well. It might mean moving a bar out to access this stuff.

Waahuut? No crazy Ike beers!!

Guys, we'd better bring more beer, as the locals expect John's beers, so we have to pick up the slack!

If you need in the trailer understand it will take a bit of work. You will also need to get the keys which I have. In order to get to most items you need to unload at least one bar. To do this where it is parked now, you will have to hook it up to a vehicle and move it forward enough to allow some room to unload the bar on to the pavement. You may be able to just open the gate and unload the old bar on to the ramps. Most of our gear is in the old bar. There is a tub of stuff and some 5 gallon buckets tucked under the new bar. If you just need CO2, it is in tubs near the back doors of the trailer. You should be able to get to those without unloading anything. Merchandise may be accessible through the side door of the trailer.

Thursday at Lion Bridge sometime between 5 and 6 sounds like a plan. Pat, Karl...I will see you there.

Daryl, are you grabbing the white board and markers as well? Anything else?

John, it's always good to see you, even if you aren't bringing beer.

The Brew-B-Que is will let any club member in for free...as long as you are bringing beer or helping serve it. So don't let the lack of beer to contribute keep you from coming up.
