August 28th - Beer Nuts Happy Hour at Lion Bridge Sign-up
August 28th - Beer Nuts Happy Hour at Lion Bridge Sign-up
The club will host another Beer Nuts Happy Hour at Lion Bridge on Sunday, August 28th.
We will be pouring from 3 PM to 5 PM.
What is needed:
1) Volunteer workers; 2 minimum, but 3-4 would be good
2) Beer contributions; in bottles and/or growlers; kegs are acceptable but you will need to bring everything you need to dispense from your keg/kegs - LB can provide with some ice and a tub or two to hold the bottles/growlers. We will pour for two hours, and in 2 oz samples; so we will not need tons of beer, but it is nice to have 4-6+ varieties that we could offer. And, if you like, we can go past 5 PM, but that will be up to the volunteers and I would cut it off no later than 5:30 or 6:00 PM - it is up to you.
You can volunteer to pour and not contribute beer; you can contribute beer and not attend (but please provide us with a description of your beer and/or recipe and any other information you think someone would be interested in knowing about your beer).
You can sign-up here by responding to this post, to volunteer your time and/or beer.
Let's meet at LB around 2:30 PM to set-up and be ready to go at 3 PM.
It has been suggested, and I agree, that one way to improve your brewing skills is to seek every opportunity that you can to pour and share your work with others. This one of those opportunities provided by your club and you will have at least one opportunity each month, to do so.
And remember, bringing beer and pouring at this April event will enter you in the year-end drawing for a $50 gift certificate from BIY.
As always, don't be shy to PM me with questions/concerns/suggestions.
Cheers,
Daryl

I will be picking up my kegs from the Independence festival Sunday at Lionbridge. I assume there will be some product available to pour. I should be there by 3.

If my bottles from yesterday didn't get emptied, feel free to finish them off today
Re: August 28th - Beer Nuts Happy Hour at Lion Bridge Sign-u
Happy to say (sad for those at LBB today), they are empty. The Cherry Limeade didn't see 5 PM, closely followed by the Cherry Cyser, the Mango Jalapeno had many repeat customers and was empty before 6 PM, quickly followed by the Brown.andrewmaixner wrote:If my bottles from yesterday didn't get emptied, feel free to finish them off today
I think they were well enjoyed.
I have your bottles, I will have them with me at work, we can arrange a hand-off then.
Thanks for the beers Andrew.

You missed Andrew (aka Punkin'). He poured his coffee stout.
