FS: new center-inlet stainless chugger/march pump head $40

Post by andrewmaixner »

This one: http://www.homebrewing.org/Chug-Pump-Ce ... _4340.html

Selling it because it is extra; I had ordered a custom welded tri-clamp pump head, and then I had to switch my pump body order from plastic to stainless steel head which I did not need, because of Chugger's supply chain screw-up(no plastic pump heads available for a month) .

Asking $40, which is $6 less than the net difference I had to pay. (Prices vary from 60-65+S&H online.) If no one wants it in a few days, I'll post it elsewhere for a higher price.

Where did you order the custom pump head? I was thinking of silver soldering mine to make the cleaning easier.

Pretty sure that will work on my March pump. I will take it off your hands for $40. Pay you at the next meeting?

Sounds good! If you want it earlier (grain pickup?), let me know.

Used my really old March pump with this new center inlet head for first time last night. Very noticeable difference in power. I had the standard 809 March plastic head which I upgraded years ago with larger 815 high flow internals which made a difference. This center inlet upgrade was even more significant. Thanks Andrew! If you are shopping for a new pump, get one with a center inlet. Worth it!
