Here are the results from the Baltic Porter Judging

So the final results for brewer of the year are:

7 Points - Matt Franklin; 1st in Baltic Porter, 2nd in American Stout and 2nd in Belgian Pale Ale
6 Points - Pat McCullough; 1st in Munich Helles and 1st in Belgian Pale Ale
3 Points - Hunter Hills; 1st in American Stout
2 Points - Randy Carris; 2nd in Munich Helles
2 Points - Tony Browning; 2nd in Baltic Porter
2 Points - Cal Corrin; 3rd in Belgian Pale Ale, 3rd in Baltic Porter
1 Points - Chris Zubak; 3rd in American Stout
1 Points - Fred Spinner; 3rd in Munich Helles

Congratulations to Matt Franklin for winning two years in a row. The results of these competitions have been quite close in some cases; an indication that these brewers are stepping up their game.

I challenge everyone to make it a goal to participate in one or more competitions in 2017, and to do what you can to place.

Ordinary Bitter turn in is due at the January meeting......This is a great category to start the year, and would be a nice addition at the Happy Hour.

Get brewing! It'll be gooood!
