Well, crap.. it'll probably be a bit under carbed, then, since I'll need to bottle it up tonight. And I'll also have to let everyone in the family know I'll have to run to the meeting. I'm having real difficulty being three places at once all the time.

When is the exact timing of the Happy hour this Sunday? I might need to drop a growler off to you Daryl is the three places at once thing doesn't work the way I planned again. I'll try to swing down there though, I know it would be fun...

Set up will be a little different from our other Happy Hours.

We will be setting up with the picnic tables along the wall that is to your right when you walk in the front entrance of Lion Bridge - please be ready to pour at or just before 3 PM.

So Brewers, you will have a private space to pour and talk about your beer with the folks at Lion Bridge....sell it for a shot at the People's Choice.

Ballots will be handed out with the sampling glasses...will close the voting at 5 PM....should be able to announce the "People's Choice Award" and our "2017 Bunged Champion" (as a result of the judging earlier this week).

Since the snow did not pan out, the schedule is a lot more doable. Maybe I can talk the wife into coming along if I bribe her with a burger. We will see.

Is a 2.5 gallon keg exceptable, or should I put it in growlers?

If you bring everything you need to pour, by all means bring the keg. Your leftovers will be better preserved.

Congratulations to Mark Jensen for making his BUNGED Award Winning "CTC Brown"; CTC = Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

Honorable mention goes to the following, from the judging round:
Josh Jensen for his Spooktacular Stout
Pat McCusker for his Breakfast Wild Ale
Eric Benda for his Banana Nut Crunch

Mark took the Championship with this beer and also earned the People's Choice Award today at Lion Bridge.

Taking second in the People's Choice is Josh Jensen, and third goes to Pat McCusker....the voting was really tight between these three.

Participation from the crowd was very good, we had 50 ballots. I heard many many complement about the beers and the event. I think we made some new friends today....I talked with three home brewers who were not aware of the Beer Nuts; maybe we will have some repeat customers in March.

Many thanks to our adventurous brewers: Cal Corrin, Mike Hora, Brandon Franklin, Josh Jensen, Mark Jensen, Pat McCusker, Eric Benda, Shane Freese, and Fred Spinner. Gentlemen, you crafted some very nice beers. Congrats to you all.

Planning for BUNGED 2018 starts at the next Cabinet meeting; we will be discussing next year's "Secret Ingredient".

Cheers!

Congrats to all that brewed - all were good beers.

I have to say that this might have been the most folks we've had at a Happy Hour - a nice crowd for sure.

Looks like some commercial folks are getting into the act, too!
