I love this. I hope more places get on board with this idea.

Ironically, went to parlor city tonight and had a 16oz pour of TG Supa Suma (King Sue Dry hopped with mosaic and extra citra) on cask for $8(excellent by the way) and then had a 10oz glass of the same for which they charged $7!

I've had this happen to me a couple times around midnight at another road when the owners were tending bar and cleaning up (as they were new in town)... I still needed to be able to bike the half mile home.

The amount charged has very little to do with the size of the glass or what's in it. It's almost entirely based upon their overhead costs - rent/mortgage, taxes, payroll, utilities, etc. Same with the food. Only a fraction of what's actually on your plate is reflected in the amount charged.

So, using the above costs as a guide. You paid $0.17/oz for beer and a flat $5.33 per glass overhead. Doesn't look too out of line to me.
