This morning, there is still no activity in the blowoff. I expected this to go like gangbusters. My harvested yeast cake was 2 months old, so maybe it is just going to take a while to start. I did airate for quite a long time, and pitched a sizable yeast cake. I know lagers are supposed to start slower, but I have not had this sort of experience with a lager before. I should have made a starter with my yeast cake.
