Have any of you guys with keezers put wheels under it? My old keezer died and I'm in the process of building a new one. Would love to be able to easily roll it out away from the wall to make it easier to put in full kegs. A simple frame with casters would likely get the job done but I'd like something lower profile.

Re: Keezer cart
Id be concerned about raising the height too much... although you have a bit more height than most, and if you sub a coller it would be a push.

Re: Keezer cart
Yeah, that's my biggest concern. My old keezer worked with a 2x4 collar, but this one will need a 2x6 (different hinge design). With those extra 2" on the collar, I'm going to need a step stool to get full kegs in there. Since it's nestled between a washer and a weird step in the wall, I think I'm going to need to pull the keezer out to make it even remotely manageable.

Re: Keezer cart
I have these Appliance rollers under mine. It worked okay on a thin carpet, and works even better on a hard floor now.

Re: Keezer cart
Not sure if it's a viable option, could you make the frame ultra low and mount the wheels, casters at a higher level so the keeper sat low in the farm but had heavy enough casters to move?

Re: Keezer cart
I once had a keezer on a cart and it was silly tall because of the casters I had on hand and required a stepstool, but I liked being able to move it around. The base was a bit larger than the keezer to have a nice pad for the CO2 tank. I wouldn't rule it out. How often are you really putting in full kegs? Once a month maybe?

Could have a solid step stool or build a platform to use to load and unload I suppose.
