"Brew Your Own" Magazine

Post by tony b »

Got a flyer in the mail for this publication. Anybody subscribe or know anything about it? Cost is $3.50/issue ($28 for 8 issues).

Went to their website (www.byo.com) and it looked pretty decent, especially since it didn't require any membership to get to most of the pages.

BYO is a great mag. Several of the club members subscribe, including myself. If I make the meeting on Thurs I'll try to remember to bring a few recent issues so you can look thru them. Well worth the subscription price.

Yep, it's got some good info. They used to periodically have a deal where you could sign someone else up for 1 free year when you renew, but alas, I haven't seen that recently.

I actually have the "friend" card (assuming the wife hasn't thrown it away). If anyone is interested, I need to re-up.

It seems like alot of props to the BYO mag, thought I would chime in and mention I get BYO and Zymurgy, both must have publications.

I just got a sign-a-friend up so if someone is unsure you can let me know as well as I "think" I still have that card. Although I did do some desk cleaning the other day.

I also believe if we have enough folks who subscribe to this publication I can work out a club BYO purchase as well. I'll try and bring that up tonight to get a head count and get folks that are life longers a chance to save some cash and new folks a way to test the waters with less financial commitment.

Sounds good. I also get Zymurgy and think it along with BYO is a great tool in the brewery.

Ok kids here is the official info for a club discount. Remember this can be a new sub, or a RENEWAL all we need is ten peeps. If you don't get BYO, you so need to pick it up, its great. Hopefully if hte pic comes up you can see Tim is a believer too (thanks Tim for the use of your crapper).

And for only 14 buck a year you will have plently of mula left over for beer.

The price is $14 per BYO subscription for your club members. Please send a
list of your members' names and addresses plus whether this is a new
subscription or renewal. Include one check to cover the full costs and
mail to my attention at our new office address:
5515 Main St.
Manchester Center, VT 05255
Thanks Adam and let me know if you have any questions!
Cheers,
Brad

It's a good thing I cleaned the toilet.

My current subscription is good until the JAN/FEB 2011 issue.
