It is getting to be that time.
I've got most of the leg work completed for the festival.
We need to start Festival Planning Meetings.
Plan on meeting every other week for June. We will see where we are at after that.
1st and 3rd Tuesday in June (6/6 and 6/20)
Agenda:
Order glasses
Identify our target audience. Who they are. What they are looking for in a festival.
Add missing items to jobs list
Get input on how we can grow.

I'm gearing up to distribute posters. I have 22 left from the original run of printings. Here is a list of places by area. If I have left someplace off of this list let me know and I will get them added.

I've tried to avoid bar bars. I have limited bar contact to craft beer bars. I'm trying to tap into the local foods and consumption market. As home brewers we are the dead center of that target. We brew beers for our neighbors to bring our communities together.

Millennials, what ideas do you have? How do we reach your crowd? Scary clowns making inappropriate balloon art?

If anyone wants to deliver any of these posters, that would be awesome. I will bring some to the meeting, just let me know how many you will need.
Places in Red have had posters delivered. I should have posters to finish up after NHC.

Could somebody get a good pic of the poster and share it to the FB group? Maybe having a colorful pic to share will catch the eye more than sharing the event.

Who is in charge of the Heroku app? Can we get "The Burlington Mob" added in as a possible homebrew club for new users? I've been contacted on Facebook about getting their beers listed.

On the bright side, they're coming!

Please post your beers on the herokuapp.

We will take partial kegs, bottles, bombers, casks....if you brewed it....you can pour it.

Please do not delay, there is a lot of planning involved in organizing the brews and getting tap-time for all of the entries. The plan will only be as accurate as our beer list.

So please post what you think you are bringing...you can change it or delete it later if your plans change.

ALSO, please put the description if you are bringing kegs or bottles.....and if kegs, please note if it is a Ball Lock or Pin Lock keg.

Thanks,
D

A polite suggestion for naming beers: please don't list your brewery name first on the app as it is confusing. At the Rivers Edge fest we had 2 to 3 beers that all stared with the same name and people thought that was the name of the beer, so we had to keep asking "which one"? Also, there's limited space on the cards we make.
