A nice festival....and a ton of Iowa brewers were there, including a cidery and meadery.

They moved the location to the field in back of the Brau Haus.

I know there is some history with the sponsor, but this festival was well planned and executed....I would recommend this festival to friends.

If we expand our festival...inviting/including Iowa Craft Breweries might be something to consider.

Would have been nice to be recognized for getting that festival going. Use to be an equal amount of homebrewers pouring at that event until more Iowa Breweries came to fruition. When it started I bet we poured at least twice the amount of beer as the pros. We certainly had the lines. It was a great way to grow our club for a time. It was unfortunate that once we were no longer necessary to fill the tents Millstream took the approach of trying to shut down our own homebrew festival instead of supporting us as we did them for so many years. Maybe time will heal the wounds but I still have scars.

That's really crappy. I had Teresa as a teacher in middle and high school, knew some of the Sly family. Honestly never thought much of their beer but always liked the family. Hearing this disappoints me.

I seem to remember a rumour that she was also one of the ones who got IBU's Happy Hour closed down before the law change.
