IPA thoughts

Post by twiggy2164 »

Looking for some input about my hop additions. I was going to use a total of 4oz in late boil addition and 4oz to dry hop, and a little warrior early for bittering. Poking around of different forums and reading articles, I'm now thinking of taking .5oz of my simcoe and amarillo from my late addition and adding them to my first wort running and keeping them in thru the boil. Thoughts? Skip the fwh or maybe increase the amount. If I increase the fwh do I pull from my late addition or dry hop?

I wouldn't bother. get your bitterness where you want it with warrior, put everything else in the various post-boil stages.

I take what I plan to bitter with and FWH in place of 60 min addition. I use .25 to .5 oz.
