Pour Event - Call for Beer - Nov 4 - Learn to Homebrew Day

Post by daryl »

I am starting this thread, specifically as a call to volunteer your beer/mead/wine to be poured at NewBo for our Learn to Homebrew event on Nov. 4.

Please post if you can provide beer to pour, and if you would be willing be a host and pour samples.

Schedule...we can pour beginning at 10AM; we will advertise the tastings will run from 11AM - 4:30 PM; but if volunteers and beer remain, we'll pour until 5 or so, and then begin tearing down.

We will take growlers and bottles. If you have kegs, please let us know, if we only have 1 or 2 kegs, we'll provide some ice, but other than that you will need to bring what you need to pour.

If we get a number of kegs, we will consider setting up the jockey box...or the tabletop bar....as long as it is easy to extract from and return to the trailer.

PM or e-mail me if you have questions or require more information.
In the Fridge/On Tap: English Bitter, Schwarzbier, Cream Ale
In the keg: Wheat Beer, Russian Imperial Stout
In the bucket:
In the queue: Irish Red, American IPA

We already talked a bit yesterday, but I will definitely participate. Once we get a list of brews/brewers I can get menus and flyers made up similar to the Happy Hour. I'm planning on being there all day to pour and I'll have some of my IPA and possibly some cider.

I can't brew onsite, but will plan to bring beer to pour for a while at the beginning (can't stay all day). Won't know what I'm bringing for sure until after the Jimmy Carter on the 29th.
