Re: January meeting
Unless there is something very special going on at Brick's in January, I would like to request that we defer meeting there until the February meeting, which is not a Competition Turn-in month.
Most all of our other venues are on the ground floor, and have more convenient parking, that would assist in collecting and transporting the Competition Entries in January.

That is correct. November meeting for electing officers is traditionally @ Longbranch. Get there early (6-ish) for the all u can eat wing buffet. Plus, this meeting is a "bottle share" opportunity, so Call Me Ishmael and bring out the whales!wyzzyrdd wrote:We are at the Longbranch tomorrow correct?

Don't forget that we're in a conference room! Not the bar.tony b wrote:That is correct. November meeting for electing officers is traditionally @ Longbranch. Check with the hotel desk if you can't find us. We've been in the basement in years past.

Re: January meeting
Was there any discussion/ decision on location for the January meeting at the Nov meeting or Xmas party? (Missed both due to illness)

Hi Joel,
The Cabinet will meet this week for the first time this year; the location of the next Membership meeting (and others) will be posted before the end of the week.

Re: January meeting
Also, for those that always want to meet at Bricks, we will of course be meeting there in the future. We will not be meeting there during months where there is a beer competition turn in. Hauling the bottles up and down the stairs and to wherever the person parked has been problematic. That means we cannot meet there January, March, April, July, or October. We also are not going to meet in the hot months of summer because it gets pretty warm up in the loft.
Bricks has always been our friend and we will be meeting there when we can. We also have lots of other friends to visit too. This month we are doing Iowa Brewing Company who was also our grain order partner last year. We like to get around to different locations around town. We are keeping and eye on Tim's new place coming soon, Local Pour, we hope to try soon too.

Re: January meeting
There is a beer turn in this month right? How many bottles are required?
