I thought I might be able to, but it won't work for me this time.

Latest update for the pouring event:

"Thanks for checking in! They have confirmed that everyone can drop off their vessels the weekend of December 2-3, and come pick up the wort on Monday December 4th. They are asking $15 for a five-gallon bucket if you bring your own vessel, or $20 if they give you a bucket. If you could pass that information along to the other brewers, that'd be great!

Let me know how that sounds - I know it's probably a hassle to get down to Iowa City on a Monday, so maybe we can chat with Doug about helping you all coordinate your pick up."

So! Drop off anytime weekend on the 2nd-3rd, pick up that Monday. Let's try to coordinate our own pick up if we can.

I can grab my own vessel, plus maybe 4 or 5 more. I live in Cedar Rapids, SE side, fairly centrally located (near Brucemore).

Also need to know if anyone is "buying a bucket" or if everyone is going to drop off their own. (we can coordinate drop off as well).

Thanks!

I'd definitely like to have someone bring back my wort for me. (I'll be in IC that weekend, but will be severely limited on extra space in the car for drop off.)

I will probably be taking my buckets down on Saturday afternoon and could surely take a number of buckets with me to drop off as long as I was able to get them during the week. I may or may not be able to pick up wort on Monday, but if I do I can bring back a few vessels for people. I also live in SE Cedar Rapids. Maybe we could coordinate a place and time where people could drop off their buckets and those of us driving down could pick them up?

Okay, sounds like we've got myself and MikeB who are willing to take a few extra vessels down and for pick-up. Anyone else?

If you'd like to drop stuff off at my house, PM me or throw me a text at Seven One Five, 630, Five Six Two One for my address. I'll be home after 4pm most of the week. We can arrange pick-up once I know who's stuff I'm picking up.

I'd also like to know by Thursday who is going to be requesting that Big Grove supply a bucket. There's already been a request for 2 buckets. Remember, $15 per 5 gallons of wort if you supply the vessel, $20 if they supply a bucket.

I'm excited folks! Let's have some fun with this wort rally!

I'm out. Logistical nightmare. I will pour at the event, but i have no interest in the wort.

Yeah I think that I'm going to need to bow out too. The next 2 weeks look like they're going to be crazy. I hope I'll be able to pour at the event or at least send something.

Can we drop off buckets on Friday? Was thinking about brews & lunch. I'd rather not fight that crowd on Saturday or Sunday.

I don't think that should be a problem.

FYI - Saturday morning is a Richard The Whale release, so I would stay away if I were you. :)

Hey all, quick update. I received an email late last night stating that they're changing our drop off and pickup location to SOLON. You can still drop off in Iowa City if you'd like, but this should help us avoid the Richard release.

Since Solon is closed on Monday's, how are we supposed to pick up our wort there? Is there a special time that someone will be there to get our wort?
