Kegs, Mash Tuns, and Burners for Sale
Kegs, Mash Tuns, and Burners for Sale
A friend of mine is downsizing his equipment due to health issues. Mick is the Physics Professor at Kirkwood, a hell of a good instructor, and very nice guy, and good and prolific brewer.
Here is the email I received from him to day....let me know if you are interested in any of his equipment and I will give you his contact information.
He has also posted this with Thirsty, and I have dibs on the Traditional Stout, an American Ale, and the Amber Pale Ale.....Mick make decent beer, I do not think you will be disappointed with his beer, if you like the style.
Cheers,
Daryl
Daryl,
I am selling off some of my brewing gear if you know anyone needing burners, kegs or mash tuns. Just FYI.
Several things I am now selling:
I have two brand new (still in the box) Blichmann burners that I am selling. $125 per burner. These were around $160 when I bought them. I also have a kit to convert to natural gas for $25.
I also have several styles of mashtuns for sale in the $20-85 range. Some are as big as 80-100 qts and have a new copper manifold instead of a traditional stainless steel hose braid. Proceeds will be donated to the food pantry/crisis center later in the fall.
I am also looking to sell 6 of my ball lock kegs at $50 each. Most of these have new sets of O-rings, however, each keg comes with a bonus of 5 gallons of carbonated beer for free. I am limited to only a few beers per week due to heart medication and there is no way I will be able to drink everything I brewed. I would hate to dump the beer to just sell the keg. I have a grapefruit IPA, a milk stout, traditional stout 2 kegs of American ale, and an amber pale ale.
I am looking for a simple bottle capper to complete a brewing starter set to sell. I would be happy to swap a couple growlers of beer, some BIAB liners for a mashtun or kettle or a mash paddle in trade.

Re: Kegs, Mash Tuns, and Burners for Sale
I got my mash tun and burner from Mick, really nice guy. Said if I ever have a problem with the equipment he sold me to just shoot him a message. I would tell anybody who was new to brewing or looking to add some equipment to their arsenal to get ahold of him.

Keg sale going on now....new and used....pin lock or ball lock....5 gallon and 3 gallon sizes.
I'm thinking about getting a couple of the three gallon kegs, to go with my 2.5 gallon kegs....so I can split 5-6 gallon batches.
