Heard that Another Road has closed - true? Or, just a rumor?

Nothing on FB or their webpage, but they also haven't posted since 12/20. They were posting every couple of days before.

Swung by there last night and it was all dark.

I didn't look for a sign. If they were taking a break, I would expect they would have posted something.

One of the owners was having some health issues.

Thursday nights are generally one of their bigger nights - vinyl and bottle share. Not looking good for the home team at this point!

I hate seeing any local business fail. I have always been vocal about how much I disliked their beer, but still hate to see them go under if that was the case.

Oof, that's harsh. Never been a fan of un-announced closing. Not fair to the fans or the employees.

Honestly, I wish they hadn't moved locations. I thought their "micro bar" in the basement was a neat spot, if only they could live up to the location. Their new place seemed a little out of their depth. Didn't help that other quality beer bars have been popping up in Marion.
