Converting pin lock kegs... or pin lock kegs for sale

I came into some pin lock kegs, they are coke kegs(says Spartanburg on 2 of them). But I'm set up for ball locks now and would like to keep it that way. Everything i got came with the post removing tool too so that isn't an issue but i understand not all pin lock kegs are created equal in terms of thread sizing.
I would like to make them low-profile ball locks.

Does anyone have a link to a conversation kit for these style kegs? Or perhaps anyone want to buy them and the tool and save me the headache?

Figured I'd put a price just in case, $25 each or 4 for $90 with the tool

You just have to determine what the threads are on the keg...and replacements are easy to get.

I am in the process of doing the same thing. I bought a 9/16-18 nut at Menard's. I am going to remove the posts and then see if the nut fits the threads...if they do, I know to order the same thread size as the nut. If not, then I order the other size, 19/32 – 18.

I have a few pin locks...and I have replaced the tops with ones that have the relief valve...and now on converting to ball lock.

Funny, at first, I found that the pinlocks were easier to put on and off, versus the ball-locks. But now I have no issues, if I put a little keg lube on the posts and/or in the QD connector.

Without the Keg Lube, some of the ball locks have been a major league PITA to get on and off.

That is a good idea with the nut, at least a cheap way to find out which conversion kit would work and how much.

As I recall, when I converted a few pin to ball, AIH has a conversion kit.

Funny, i just found that site earlier today, and can email them to be certain it's the correct one. Im still on the fence if I'll do it or not. Gonna just hold on to them for now. if i do swap em I'll probably wait on the pvr lids to save money and just using a gas side post to release pressure when needed(like when i kick a keg). They hold pressure so that's a plus taking them ice cold from outside and sit in my basement for an hour i had to degas them to get the lids off.

I'll probably get my conversion kit for AIH....I ordered the pressure relief lids from them...and I need one more. With those kits...the conversion to all ball locks will be complete for me.

Thanks for the thought, I'll pry be waiting a while due to other brewing related projects(mobile kegerator for camping and beer festivals) on the front burner so to speak. So id just make your order when you wish to.
Thinking at the moment id rather almost sell them and have all matching sized kegs (perfectionist in me i guess). I'll see if anyone is interested or shoots me an offer on em for now.

The shorter height allows me to fit a third keg in my keezer. It sits on the compartment that houses the evaporator.

So I have two ball locks sitting in the main compartment, and the pin lock on the step....and that is about all that will fit in there. A tall ball lock on the step would probably keep the lid open on the keezer.

I am not sure two pin locks would fit in the main compartment.

So the combination works in my favor.

So from your pictures, I can see that non of your kegs have the notches next to the gas and liquid posts....so according to the cornykeg.com website, it is highly likely you have Firestone Pinlocks, which are 9/16"-18 threads.

The Cornelius pinlocks have a notch in the rubber handles, and they have 19/32"-18 threads.

You confirmed on one keg that the liquid and gas posts have the same thread....I would suggest confirming on the other three kegs, that one of those posts on the first keg, matches the threads on the other three.

If they do, then you know that you will need four sets of the same posts, and you only need to confirm the threads....and then you will be ready to order your kits.
