NCAA bracket challenge

Post by twiggy2164 »

With the announcing of the NCAA Men’s tournament, I thought I’d suggest a club bracket challenge. If we get some people interested, I’ll create a bracket pool through CBS sports. What I’m thinking is each member that wants to enter will put up a commercial bottle/bottles with a retail value of at least $10. Prize distribution will be determined by how many we have enter. Round of 64 starts Thursday so I’ll need to hear back and get emails for group invites ASAP.

Count me in. I'm already filling out brackets for another pool and this one has a better payout - BEER!

Brackets lock at 11:15 am on Thursday. If anybody wants in just follow the link I posted. Buy in is at least $10 (approximate retail) in beer. doesn’t need to be anything crazy, just something you like or think somebody else would like. Payout will be determined by participation.

Just entered my bracket.

I'm meeting buddies at Buffalo Wild Wings (Blairs Ferry) tomorrow @ 11am to watch hoops if anyone wants to tag along?

No plans yet for Friday lunch, if folks want to meet up somewhere to watch games and drinks beers!

I figure we can try to settle up at the meeting this month or happy hour at the latest. Josh your schedule with work might be a challenge. What I figured we’d do having 5 selections of beer. 1st place gets to pick the first 2 they want, then 2nd and 3rd place select. The remaining selection then goes to the winner as well. Hopefully this way nobody gets their own beer as a prize.

I promise not to game the system by bringing a really good beer, only to take it back as one of my selections.

Josh can’t make it Thursday, but he sent me a list of his beers. If the rest of us are there we can settle up. Josh will get his beers to their new owner when his work schedule allows.
