Which technique would you prefer or is best to cut a 1/2" hole in a keggle:
1) Use a step bit
2) Use a Greenlee hole punch
Or other? Or does it matter?

Re: Cutting holes into a Keggle
I've got a punch that will punch 7/16. It is fantastic. 1/2 is just enough to big enough to make it too easy to leak.
Let me know if interested, and I can bring to the meeting.

I use step bit because I have them. Hole punch makes a superior clean cut. Go hole punch if you can.

Step bit. It was easier than you think. Concord kettles are thicker and far more work.
