May Happy Hour, Sunday the 26th

Post by twiggy2164 »

This months Happy Hour is the big one. We will pour from 3-6 at Lion Bridge, voting for fan favorite will be cutoff at 5:30 to tally votes. I’ll probably try to show up by 1:30, we may have tents to set up so I could definitely use a few volunteers to help. This happy hour is only for wort rally entries and open to anybody that purchased wort from Lion Bridge.

We’ll use the herokuapp to sign up same as we do for festivals. So if you plan on pouring please get them on the app, it’s already up.

As usual for Happy Hour, you will need to bring whatever you need to serve beer. I’ll have tasting cups. If you need ice, buckets, co2, etc, you’ll need to bring it.

Will you provide signage for the individual beers, if the brewers signup on the herokuapp? Or do we need to make our own?
In the Fridge/On Tap: English Bitter, Schwarzbier, Cream Ale
In the keg: Wheat Beer, Russian Imperial Stout
In the bucket:
In the queue: Irish Red, American IPA

If brewers sign up on herokuapp I’ll have some kind of name/beer tag made up. Please get them in ASAP so I can try to get most of it done Saturday.

If anybody has a banquet table they can bring Sunday we may need it. LB would prefer we bring our own. Joel is bringing the 1 he has.

As of now with Matt, Randy, Joel, and 1 small table i have I think we’re good. I only see 16 beers uploaded on the app, please get them in so I can make up name/beer tags tomorrow. And locate more tables if needed.

Matt at Benz said that we could borrow as many tables from them as we need. He just needs to know by tomorrow so he can get them down with the forklift.

And now there are 26 brews/16 brewers registered to pour. I would not be surprised if some show up without registering.

I’d be surprised if there aren’t unregistered beers

Awesome event today! Best selection of beers in the 3 years I’ve been doing this. Overheard the Waterloo guys saying “I wish we could be in this club, they do so many cooler things than our club!” Thanks Daryl, Travis and everyone else who worked hard to make this happen.

Well said Mike! Another great event for CRBS. A special big thanks to Travis and Joel who were there way before I got there and we're setting up tents. Also thanks to Matt for getting said tents from the trailer to LB.
