Grain Buy 2020 - Orders only thread

Good news, all CRBS members: the 2020 grain buy is on. We will be ordering through Clock House brewing. Please show your thanks to them by purchasing several of their beers on carry-out.

For those new to the club, we do this typically once per year. It is an opportunity to purchase bulk grain at producer prices. Many clubs organize bulk base malt grain purchases for their members and I like to think it is a nice benefit of club membership.

Clock House orders grain through both Cargill and BSG. Attached please find the most recent pricing sheets. Shipping will be $3 per sack of grain. Feel free to order anything on the sheet. I will check if something you order is not going to work or has a hazmat charge or something, and get back to you if there is an issue or significant cost increase.

We are planning to take delivery in early May. I will post here and announce via social media when grain is ready to pickup. You need to make best efforts to pick up your grain the day it is ready. If you cannot pickup that day please make arrangements with another member or PM me on this forum. We want to minimize the amount of grain left to be hauled off by just a few people and have to store somewhere.

To participate, you must have your dues paid! To order, just simply comment with what you would like to order. You must include your actual name with your order so we know who is who. Payment is due when you order and can be paid via cash, check, or PayPal.

This thread is for grain/supply orders only. Please try to keep this thread cleared up from questions, etc., and use other thread for that. There is another thread going about sharing/splitting bags and such if you want. Please discuss sharing of a sack of grain or other products on the CRBS 2020 Grain Buy Sharing Thread. Posts on this thread should be orders only and be submitted by the end of Saturday, April 25. If sharing a sack of grain, one member responsible for pick up and payment should make the post to this thread to place the order. Payment must be made prior to April 25 via PayPal (to cedarrapidsbrewingsociety@gmail.com) or via cash or check sent through (USPS) mail. Please PM me (Karl) for my postal address.
