Trailer Work Day - August 7, 2 PM

Post by daryl »

It's hard to believe that we are about two weeks out from our beer festival.

We are going to do some last minute prep on the Trailer this Saturday, August 7, at 2 PM.

The plan is to pull both bars out and check them out; making sure the lines are clear and ready to go, the bar surfaces are clean, and they are ready to roll out and use on the 21st. We are also going to take inventory and organize the other equipment in the trailer - patching or tossing any of the totes that have holes in them, assess our pump/inverter/battery needs, arrange for marked packaging of our smalls (i.e. QDs, QD-taps, spare taps), and make sure each bar is equipped with adequate CO2 and toolset.

We do not need a large crew, but the hands of a few more members will ensure we wrap this up in 2-3 hours.

We can share a few beers during and afterwards, and if the weather cooperates, I will roast up some sweet corn on the fire pit for us to enjoy.

The trailer/worksite is located at my place in rural Linn County two miles north of Springville.

Please PM here if you can make it.
In the Fridge/On Tap: English Bitter, Schwarzbier, Cream Ale
In the keg: Wheat Beer, Russian Imperial Stout
In the bucket:
In the queue: Irish Red, American IPA

ALRIGHT....all of the taps/lines are clean; the trailer has been cleaned out; most of the small items have been sorted and stored in some new storage boxes; and the inverters/batteries/pumps have been checked out and ready to go.

A big thanks to Ryan Stevens, Mark Jensen, and Mike Hora for coming out and working through the heat.

We are ready to go for the 21st.
