Melomel Judging

Post by mccullpl »

Looking for judges for the melomel competition. This week doesn't work for me. Next Wednesday or Thursday?

Thanks,
Pat

There's only 4 entries, so 2 judges is probably ok, but would like to have as third. I'll steward. Let's plan Wednesday. Anyone have a suggestion where to judge? I'm guessing Hospoda would be happy to let us judge there.

I am not available to judge this week. I tested positive for Covid last Friday. I retested tonight, and still positive. So you need to push back a week or find another judge.

Thanks for the heads-up...hope you aren't feeling too crappy!

Since there hasn't been any other interest in judging, let's shoot for the 8th or 9th. Let me know if one of those works.

Sorry to hear that, Pat! Hope you recover quickly, with on long-COVID issues!

Ok, sounds like Randy and Pat can do this Wednesday. If anyone else is interested, that would be great.

Let plan on Hospoda at 7:00, unless someone else has another suggestion on location.

Please reply so I know you guys are both in.

Thanks

What temp do you judge mead at? Room temp?

Room temp is better than refrigerated, unless it's a sparkling mead.

I prefer cellar temp (upper 50s) for my meads.
