Are we turning these in at the meeting to be judged later? I seem to remember that being the current plan.

YES –

Please bring your entries to the next meeting for competition, if you cannot bring them to the next meeting, or forgot I can work with you to get them to my house, judging will tentatively be the week after the meeting. Winners will be posted to the site, and score sheets will be distributed Feb. Meeting.

Remember these:
  1. This a Baltic Porter competition, judging guidelines will be based on the newest BJCP requirements at http://www.bjcp.org/2008styles/style12.php#1c
  2. Please submit 2 bottles of any size.
  3. Please try and mark these bottle with a label than can be easily removed. I’m not worried about being strict on BJCP requirements on this, but it would be helpful.

If you would like to judge or steward please let me know, we will need at least one more judge and a steward.

Cheers, Travis

I will not be submitting one, I did make a baltic porter, however, it takes like armpit and would land in DFL!

Great question!  This qualifier could be the difference between at 35 pointer and a 7 pointer!

At this point that might still be third place.

If it's Jeremy's armpit, dump it. If it's her armpit, I think I want to try it.

Well, so far I have 3 entries here, sounds like there are one or two more? As soon as I get those and figure out the who and when a steward and another judge or two is available we will have it at my house.

Probably looking at this Friday, next Monday or next Wednesday as possible comp dates.
