Here's the flyer for the Longbranch meetings. I'll let Travis chime in with printing instructions.

Long Branch Meeting Flyer - Promo

Post by Mr T »

All –

I’ve created a flyer to promote our Long Branch meetings. Since the hotel is a nice common place that can accommodate many folks were trying to use these times to attract interest to possible new brewers. To help spread the word about these meetings I’ve put together a flyer that fits on a standard 8 ½ X 11 paper that can be printed in what I believe color or B&W. Let me know if there are any color problems.

What I have done since we know the location is static as well as the night and time I’ve left a box open to place the date by hand or if you wish to pull this in to some photo editor and type in the next meeting date. The idea is that this will be located at all times on our site and can be used easily for each long branch meeting with little effort to update.

I’d also to like to note that we are stressing on the brewing phrase as we don’t want this to come off as an open invitation for this to be seem like an open bar for the thirsty masses.

Please feel free to hang where you feel appropriate, office, public events, nursing home, gun club, etc.

Thanks for helping the club spread the word about home brewing and our great club.

Contact me with any questions.

I tried to keep things fairly simple, the majority of the text is Impact, regular.

I think the flyer looks great. You could also make one with the meeting place blank as well as the date so you could just fill that in too in case you're meeting somewhere else but want to post it. Either way, it looks really good and should get people's attention. I'm sure Benz and Hy Vee Drug will let you post it. Maybe Granite City?? Have fun at the next meeting. Wish I could be there.

How much snow have you gotten this week??? Plus, it ain't negative numbers there for temperature, so don't lie to us and say you wish you were here!!

I'll have to admit that the weather here is much better than CR. We got almost 12 inches of snow here last Thurs (an all-time record) and it was basically gone by Sat. The temp here today was about 55 and it will hit almost 60 by Sat but dropping back to the 40s/50s next week. That said, I still wish I could be there to hang out with you guys and have a beer or two, or several. You're still a good group of friends, and it's hard to find that no matter where you are. Take care.

Hi Larry. Sounds more like Denver than Dallas. I'd be brewing if we hit 50. I can't wait for the weather to warm up. As soon as it does I'm brewing my first hoppy beer. My oldest wants to do a hopped brown. Who'd a thunk.
