SPAM messages

Post by falsenorth »

Has anyone else been getting a lot of SPAM messages from this forum lately? I've gotten 2 or 3 in the past week.

At any rate, I'll take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name's Chris. I've been a lurker on this forum since this past summer, mostly because I'm living in Chicago right now. I'll be living in CR before too long, as my wife wants to raise kids close to our families. I'm in town pretty often, and look forward to being heavily involved in the Cedar Rapids brewing community.

As Club VP - let me be the first to say WELCOME. We hope you can attend a meeting soon so we can meet face-2-face and share a homebrew.

And Yes, I've just started getting private messages that are "SPAM, SPAM, SPAM. But I don't like SPAM!!"

Welcome! I grew up in Cedar Rapids also and remain here for the same reason, good place to raise some kids. In my case some is four. No way I can raise them in a big city with private school. I think you will enjoy our club. Simply, we love good beer.
