Selling Counterflow Chiller

Post by DrPaulsen »

I'm selling a counterflow chiller.

This is Franklin's old chiller. It works great -- I used it for about 10 batches over the past year, both with and without a pump. With a pump, you can get 5 gallons to ale pitching temps in 5 minutes. Without a pump, it takes about 8 minutes. This was a significant improvement for me over my old 25 foot x 3/8" immersion chiller from NB (which typically took 20-30 minutes). I'm only selling it now b/c I'm upgrading to something that I can better integrate into my brewing bench.

In addition to what is shown in the picture, structural zip ties have been added to improve rigidity and a 1/2" barb adapter has been added to the wort input side.

Matt sold it to me for $30, so I'm thinking $25 is a fair price.
