Poll for Second CR Beer Nuts Meeting timeframe

Hey all,

The board has discussed the idea of a second meeting for each month to serve as a technical brewers meeting. The format of the meeting has not yet fully been identified. This has been approved in the short term to determine if there is enough interest to keep this going on a year round basis. We are planning to hold one in the first week of May if I can get a meeting planned an organized in that time frame, otherwise it will be pushed to the first week in June.

The second meeting of the CR beer nuts will be held in the first week of each month. The sole purpose of this post is to poll for the best day of the week for this reoccuring monthly meeting. This meeting will occur on the first week of every month and the day of the week will be fixed with limited exceptions to this. The only real exception that would impact the event day would be if there was a substanial regional beer event that many of the club members were participating in.

The one thing I would ask is that if you have no interest in attending this type of a meeting please don't vote. I would like to try to gather realistic day from those who are seriously interested in participating in a monthly meeting dedicated to technical brewing aspects.

I do have a real interest in attending these meetings. Mondays are a killer for me, impossible. Thursday seems to be the other night where everything is scheduled. I voted wednesday. Just to spite the pope.

I'm pretty open as besides beer I don't have much of a life. I can go for whatever fits the majority.

With summer coming up, Monday night is golf league. And I don't want to compete with Thirsty Thursday's at the Kernels. So, I went with Tuesday, but Wednesday works too.

I voted for Thursday, but really any night is probably good for me. I could even do Saturday morning once a month.

I don't have a problem with Thursday, but I think it would be nice if the club offered these meetings on any day but Thursday. This would allow individuals that always have a Thursday commitment to come to this meeting since they can never make our regular meetings. Allows for membership growth. I can do about any night. I think I had voted for Wednesday.

Tuesday or Wednesday work best for me. I like Matt's idea of sometime other than Thursday.

Personally, I like a non Thursday as well, the poll shows Wed in the lead so we'll see.

I voted for Friday, but it honestly doesn't matter which day you have it on for me. I'm free most nights.

I think weekend nights will create too many schedule conflicts. Also promote long drinking nights a crowded public meeting places if that is where we end up having it.

Friday night belongs to the woman so I'd have to pass on that one. I also agree with a night other then Thursday to break things up.
