While reading up on Belgian wits I suddenly had Zen moment ( or maybe it was the triple I was drinking). I realized that I had saved about 5 ounces of "Flat leaf parsley seeds" from my garden grown parsley. I do believe the seeds are ... wait for it... coriander! Nice to get double use from the plant.
Maybe not great news to the rest of you but I was tickled ( then again it still may be this triple)

Sorry dude, but parsely is parsely. Italian flat leaf is just another variety from the "normal" curly that we see everywhere.
Confirmation from the others - coriander = cilantro.

Knowing that my Alzheimer kicks in often without warning, I did some more checking. Seems cilantro is also known as "Chinese parsley or Indian flat leaf parsley" but not Italian flat leaf. Maybe that is why my lasagna tastes off.
