Cream Ale Sunday
Cream Ale Sunday
I'll be brewing a Cream Ale on Sunday if anyone wants to come over. This will be a partial mash using the brew in a bag method. Send me a PM or reply here if you're interested in coming out and I'll give you directions.

Jeremy,
That's part of the reason I brew such small batches. I'm trying to learn as much as I can, and brewing more frequently gives me the best chance to do that.
Besides, with BrewBQ, Beer Camp, and the club American Brown comp all in August I figured I need to be rockin' right now or I'll run dry. It's going to be close as it is.
Next weekend will probably be a Cali Common, then I'm going to try a lager. That one won't be ready for a while of course.
This will make my 11th batch since I started. But to put that in perspective, that's still less than 30 gallons. You have at least that much sitting in cornies waiting to go into your tap rotation!

I just doughed in at 10:45. Not too late to make it here in time to start the boil. Don't be shy all you new brewers...

Turn in where the sign says "Stone City Log Homes", it's the first house on the right. You'll see me out in the driveway.
We're really lot closer to Stone City than Anamosa. It's a real easy 15 minute drive up Hwy 151 from Marion. Turn left on Linn-Jones Road from 151 then right on Fairview Rd. It's about a 1/4 mile from there.
