Who's got some yeast?

Post by brownbeard »

I want to brew on tuesday. it was a last minute decision, and I have everything but yeast. Does anyone have a yeast pack they would be interested in parting with? I want to brew something that will be done by brewbecue. I was thinking a porter. If you have anything, let me know. I will alter my style for the yeast I find.

I've got 3 options for you.

1. A packet of US-05 (11grams)
2. A packet of S-04 (11 grams)
3. About 3 vials worth of top-cropped WLP028 (Edinburgh Ale, supposedly pretty close to WLP001 in terms of flavor profile).

The WLP028 was captured in a sanitary blow-off reservoir within the past few days and should be in very good condition (i.e., no starter needed).

I have a Wyeast 1056 pack that I could part with.

I would be interested in getting some of that WLP028. If it is not a problem.

It shouldn't be a problem. I'll PM you with some pickup options.
