Friday (7/30) is my BD so I've decided to spend it brewing. I'll be attempting my first Lager, based on Lee's Munich Helles recipe. This will be a simplified all grain brew using the system I've been working on.
I'll probably start around noon so I can be done and cleaned up to go out for dinner. As always, if anyone wants to take the day off and come out they're welcome.

Happy Birthday CJ! I'll be in Milwaukee at a funeral. Hopefully there will be some good beer there.

If I hadn't been stuck in a plane most the day, I'd have stopped by. Happy birthday!
Only four more hours til I'm home.

Thanks everyone! The brew session seemed to go pretty well, we'll see how it turns out in a couple of months.
