Stainless Conical Fermenters and Pots

Post by JimF »

I stumbled across this place yesterday. The prices are cheap compared to Blichmann (but then everyone's prices are cheap compared to Blichmann!) http://conical-fermenter.com/

Stainless Conical Fermenters and Pots

Post by Mr T »

Jim, thanks for posting this after our conversation last night… I’m surprised by the variety they have, prices seem decent, but I’d like to get my hands on one before I get too excited about the price/quality. One of the product pictures the conical looks dented. Guess it’s a long trip from China.

I might break down and get one, if you or someone else grabs one I’d love to see it in person.

If you want to get more involved in designing/building your own, check out the following:

They also have domed lids. Perhaps you wouldn't save much money considering the cost of fittings, but hey, it's DIY, right?

Cheers!

Toledo Spinning is who makes the cones for most everybody's homebrew conical products. There use to be weldless kits for converting them like a blichmann out there too.

If someone wants to pull the trigger on something from conical-fermenter.com folks post it here. Could maybe work a deal on a multiple conical order or at least save on shipping.
