I'm not sure where to post this. Circumstances prevent me from brewing for some time. I most likely will not be able to brew again until after the first of the year. I have ~ 40 lbs. of Borlander Munich, 40 Lbs. of pale ale and maybe twenty pounds of 2-row(all Briess). These are opened bags now stored in a plastic tub that is not air-tight although probably bug proof. If you need some of these grains please contact me. These are from our Breiss purchase ?last fall?? I'd hate to see them go bad. I also have some crystal (40,60,&120), aromatic, chocolate, black patent, and vienna in 1 and 2 pound packages. Some are still sealed while others have been opened. I also have a small assortment of hops in the freezer although it is a rather small assortment (Horizon, chinook, northern brewer, Chech Saaz). So before you pay shipping check if I have it, if I do you are welcome to it.

Dude, sorry to hear that you won't be brewing for awhile. Here's hoping that it's just a temporary hiatus and not permanent. Speaking from experience, I know how hard it is to start back up after not brewing for a few months.

sorry to hear that john, I just finished up my all grain set up and I'm planning on brewing a ton of beer until it starts to loose it's new exciting luster and turn into "man I gotta brew this weekend, sounds like work, F that." So whatever I can take off your hands I'll help pay you for or whatever you want to do just let me know what I can do to help.

Sorry to hear it John, if you need something to tide you over, I'm sure we can all pitch in a couple of bottles. I'd hate to see you need to resort to "home-brought" rather than home-brewed. Not that there aren't some pretty good beers available now....
I'd take any of the specialty grains that Kurt doesn't want, if he doesn't want it all. I always need those. I just bought a bunch of Pale and Munich, so I'm set on those for the moment.

I didn't mean for it to sound so grim. I just won't know if I'll be home on weekends enough to have time to brew. It looks like this situation will be continuing until at least Thanksgiving. It may resolve sooner (hopefully to the good). I think I have enough homebrew to give the whole club a nice buzz for the next three meetings anyway. Call me or pm me if you want to come by and pick -up the grain. It'll probabably have to be a week night(preferably a Wed.) ph. 373-3129 weekday evenings, but not Fridays

I feel your pain. Have only brewed twice this year and the last batch was in May. I need to get back on the horse. I brew more frequently when the weather starts to turn cold. Hope you can brew again soon.
