It is located off 1st Ave sort of behind Bed, Bath & Beyond. We are not allowed to bring much food beyond cheese and crackers but can order something from their restaurant. We can bring any beer we want.

Remember, they have a great deal on wings that night. Stop and fill up on all you can eat wings before the meeting.

Following up on an earlier suggestion - seeing as this meeting doesn't have an official Host to pick a beer style, we should designate this one "Bring out yer Dead!" and clean out your beer stash.

I know that I have one or two bottles of older brews sitting around. Not only are we cleaning out backlog, but its also a good learning experience to see how certain beer style age - some do well, others not so. But again, the Club is about learning more about beer. [/url]

Just as a teaser: I was up in Wisconsin last week on business and brought back a growler of Vanishing Vanilla Stout from the Stone Cellar Brewpub, which is the oldest continuously running brewpub in WI.

This is an English style stout with a strong vanilla presence on the nose that is all but absent in the flavor. Some of you may have tried this at the Great Taste of the Midwest. At under 5% ABV, this is a nice session stout.
