Visitation for John

Post by tony b »

It is with much sadness that let you all know that John passed away this past Monday afternoon.

His obituary will be in tomorrow's Gazette. Here is a link to his guest book at Stewart-Baxter.

We are planning the visitation this Saturday afternoon (Dec. 18th) from 3 - 5 pm at Stewart-Baxter Funeral Home -- 1844 1st Ave. NE, here in Cedar Rapids.

I appreciate all the kind thoughts and support from the Club during this difficult time. I am planning on attending the Xmas party afterwards. John would have wanted it that way.

Tony, I am very sorry to hear about John, he was a kind and wonderful person.

If there is anything at all that my family or I can do for you please don't hesitate to ask.

I will be there on Saturday as well.

Tony,
I'm very saddened to hear that. You've got lots of friends here, so please let us know if there is anything we can do. You are always welcome to come and hang out if you need to get out of the house, and you can bring the dogs too. It will great to see you at the party, and I'll try to make the visitation too.

I am truly saddened by this. John was a genuinely good person, who had a really big heart. He always had a kind word, and was such a great person to talk to. I will miss him.

I am so sorry for your loss Tony. It is little consolation right now, but you got to spend time with a wonderful man who loved you and you loved him. We should all be so blessed. Thank you for sharing him with us. I would have been sorry to miss the opportunity to know him.

You have our deepest sympathies. There are no words to describe the sorrow felt when you lose a loved one. All you can do is be glad you were able to spend time together and remember all the great memories. I worked with John of many years at MCI and he was always a joy to be around.

We have a school function but will try and make the visitation if we can leave early.

Tony,
Sorry about the passing of John. He was such a nice man. I always enjoyed talking with him at the beer festivals and other brew club events. You know if you need anything you can count on your friends in the brew club.
