Iowa Micro Brew Awards

We're getting a nice group of micro breweries in Iowa finally, and more are popping up all the time. I think it would be cool to organize a competition for Iowa Micros judged by Iowa's biggest beer fans/geeks. In other words, by home brew clubs. This would another way to to get clubs together to participate in something together.

This could be very formal, with BJCP style judging, or more like a "people's choice" type. The later would be easier, and would be better than the typical free for all in that the participants would be people who are serious about beer, and understand many of the challenges in the brewing process.
