Weekend from hell. But beer went well so far. In my ghetto dorm fridge fermentation chamber I could just barely fit two buckets. I couldn't use my normal blowoff tube setup and close the door on either bucket. Left the lids loose assuming I would be back to check and clean up on Saturday night.

I was supposed to have a 1-2 hour fix on a clutch/rear seal job that leaked. Had the VW TDI "guru" in Madison do it.. he.. um.. didn't really do it correctly.... Drop the pan, re Permatex around the rear main and we'd go to the zoo (took the two little ones and the wife). not so much.. couldn't get the pan off. Turns out the reason the original rear main leaked is that the Mexican factory didn't put it in correctly and used a shload of blue Permatex to "fix" it. 24 hours later and a unplanned stay in Madison and we were off. So on SUNDAY night I checked. Looked like a bomb went off in the chamber...

Well the beer is obviously fine, but I had a lot of cleaning up to do and I have a bit more to do once I take the buckets out of the chamber... :(

Still debating what to do also, I suppose a lot depends on what the two slightly different batches taste like in 3 weeks. Still bubbling away like crazy.

We are only one month away from our Recipe for Disaster pour event; and here are a few more details about the event.

This will be an extended Happy Hour - Lion Bridge would like for us to set-up by 3 PM and pour until 7:30 PM.

So that we can properly prepare, we will need to know what beer(s) you are bringing. Randy Carris has setup the Recipe for Disaster as an in event on crbeernuts.herokuapp.com. Many of us have an account on herokuapp, and it is what we use to register beer for our pour events. Please login (or create an account and login) and register your beers for the Recipe for Disaster event. Place in your description if you will be pouring from kegs or growlers.

Please register as soon as you can, the earlier the better, so that we can get an idea of how much equipment we will need to set-up.

The herokuapp is only showing the Benz Beer Festival, but Randy assures me that this event will pop-up when it is within 30-days of the event (which should be sometime this weekend).

Cheers

My 2 have been added.

Noticed something in the app - it's using the old BJCP style guide. Is there a quick/easy way to upgrade to the current version?

Not that I'm aware of. Dave R. wrote the app. At a guess the database would need to be rebuilt.

I haven't done AMP programming in a decade, but a couple of minor tweaks could make it easier to use. I'd be willing to at least take a look at it ...
Wish List:
-- show the event, not just the year, in the "manage my beers" page, since we now have multiple events per year
-- show the Style and % along with the name/brewer/club on the Front Page (and maybe allow a Grid view instead of just Icon view)
-- The style guidelines being out of date don't bother me so much, though if we don't care about retaining historical data, it couldn't be more involved than a few hours of RegEx and a few table replacements to get it updated to 2015BJCP

I've always been a fan of the middle out technique.

guessing that is a joke, since google gives me this explanation:
when Gilfoyle is demonstrating the 4 dick stroking method, he says "you have to go middle-out" which sets something off in Richards mind. You can tell by the musical cue and the fact that the algorithm is in fact changed to work from the middle-outwards.

Once you got to "four dick stroking technique" the guessing should have ended.

My beers are on herokuapp. I'm not sure what Andrew and mark are talking about, but I'll pass. [emoji848]
