I dropped off the order today. Chris said about 4 weeks, so we're looking towards the end of February. I'm hoping to take the truck down (the front end is loose, the brakes are soft, but hey who needs brakes anyway). That way I can load a whole pallet. That still leaves 17 bags. Keep a couple weekends in February open if you want in. Hopefully the weather will hold out.

I too am available most Saturdays. If needed, I can fit the 17 extra bags in my car no problem. I also have a small enclosed trailer that can take 1800# or so.

Sounds like the grain will be here next Friday. Chris missed the pilsen on the order. I can see if we can do something at another time if anyone is dead set on having it.

I'll be going down on Saturday 3/19 to pick it up if anyone wants to meet there.




Hi Tom,

We have a malt order coming in next Friday, the 18th. Your malt order will be included. To simplify pricing (instead of constantly looking up what each bag costs and figuring shipping into it), I think it makes sense to simply charge $25 for base malts (including pils and others) and $30 for the caramel and specialty malts. I am going to do this with all the home-brewers. This will allow a little mark-up for shipping and handling as well as fluctuating malt prices (basically, it makes my life easier).

2 row 20 bags @ $25 = $500
W.Wheat 6 bags @ $25 = $150
Pale Ale 9 bags @ $25 = $225

Munich 10 1 bag @ $30
Carmel 20 1 bag @ $30
Carmel 40 1 bag @ $30
Carmel 60 2 bag @ $30

Roasted B. 1 bag @ $30

I just realized I completely missed the Pilsen malt. I am very sorry about that. The grain will be in next Friday the 18th. Let me know when you want to collect it.

I was getting ready to make an order from midwest to stock up on specialty grains(buying 5 to 10 pounds of each). Let me know if you want to get rid of some and we can work out something.

If we get a chance to reorder soon I'd like to get the pilsen. If anyone else is in need maybe a group order from another supplier. Let me know.

Please let me know what you want asap. I need to finalize how each bag is being split. Right now I have 3-4 people going in on each bag.

Either way... What ever will be the quickest. My wife reminded me that we have dinner plans for Saturday night, so I can't hang around too long (or drink too many beers!) I can bring my scale to help with the split.

I'll check and see what time we can pick up the grain. Hopefully 8-9 am. I don't want to waste a whole day down there. I would rather give everyone time for pickup. I'll post Monday or Tuesday on a meeting time at Millstream. As I've said everyone is welcome to go down and help.

I don't think we should do any bag splits at Millstream. We can set up a meeting place afterwards to do the splits if anyone wants to.
