So is anyone willing to tally a NB order? We'll need to get these supplies soon so we can all make yeast starters in time for next weekend.

I'm more than willing to put together and place the yeast and grain order for this project.  Everyone that needs to place an order can post here and I will submit the order on Sunday night. I plan to do a price check on the entire order with NB and Midwest to get the best price.
I know that I'm counting on the spring grain order coming in before I'll be ready to brew this batch and suspect others might be in the same boat.  That will definetly affect my time line.

My only hang-up is that I'm out of 2-row, so as long as the grain order comes in before we need to brew, I'll knock out 5 gallons

Unfortunately I won't be able to participate in this go-round. I have too many scheduling conflicts that is going to keep me from brewing this by mid-March. I think the earliest I'll have time to brew next is going to be end of March.

Jim here's what I need:
4lbs 2-row
1lb each of chocolate, flaked oats, flaked barley, roasted barley, crystal 120, and victory.
6lb gold LME
3lb light DME
brewers licorice
Yeast
1oz each of Chinnok and centennial
2 oz EKG
Running $ total is around $55 without shipping. I'll round it to $60 for you. Thanks.

BA is this standard Brewers 2-row or Pale Ale malt?

Did I catch that right -- 2 lbs of lactose? Is the 1.106 gravity estimate including or excluding the lactose? In order to ensure 10 gallons of finished beer, I'm going to scale it to an 11 gallon recipe and need to know how the lactose figures in.

This type of job smells like a group brew to me. If anyone else is willing to come by and help me out, I would sign up for 20 gallons. This would require one person committing to come by and help out on a double brew day. It would probably also require someone to take 10 gallons of wort home with them, as I only have room for 10 gallons in my fridge fermenter.

If I can get it cleared with upper management, I propose doing this on Monday, March 7 (sorry, weekends are no good since my house is on the market). I'll gather up all the ingredients and take care of the yeast. As a starting point, I'd like to claim 10 gallons and give away the other 10 to whomever shows up to help. You don't even have to pay for the ingredients, just be willing to grind grain and shovel out the fermenter, since we'll be going through a full 50 lb sack of malt and the brew day will probably take 8 hrs.

If you've never done an all-grain brew before, want to see an electric brewery in action, want to come by and drink my beer, and/or just want an easy way to help fill the club barrel, let me know.

Their recipe ends at 10 gallons, so the lactose concentration should be the same.  Looks like they've got a higher evaporation rate than you do.

I'd be willing to help out too, I just don't have a big enough mash setup for this recipe. Mondays can be tough for me though. Matt, if you're not doing an all-nighter I'd be interested giving you a hand if you want it, as I really want to see your system running.

I have a 5 gallon glass carboy I'm not using if someone needs it..
