Yeah, that really surprised me. This crowd was pretty rude overall. Nothing to fault the organizers over, I want to stress. I'm just not used to having to shove my way to the front to get a sample of beer. At first I stood there politely but it became apparent that those at the front were just going to stay there and either continue to drink or slide sideways to the next booth. I nearly got trampled a few times by others trying to cut in front. Since this was more of a wine event, with 5 times as many wine tables, perhaps it's the wine crowd?

Overall a fairly good event, but the participant etiquette was crude at
best considering the demographics. A lot of folks that either hung out in
front of the table drinking like it was their personal bar or other folks
that found anyway into the line and helped themselves regardless of your
position. Im normally numb to this, but this event seemed extremely more
difficult to obtain a beverage unless you used gorilla tactics.. Next year
I bring the foot ball uniform and tazer.

Yeah, I certainly agree it was a good event, I especially appreciate the price. But since the crowd looked more professional I was really expecting a polite crowd.

Agreed that orderly lines were in short supply.

Not much of a wait for the Cowboy whiskey though. Which was nice.

Perhaps next year there will be some etiquette guidelines noted on the tasting sheet, after all there was no direction provided other than "here's a cup".

Big T... You should know better than to get between a horde of tipsy cougars and their wine.
