I usually do the same thing where I price out an order from NB and MW. I've found that if I'm ordering lots of malt, MW is the way to go since they offer bulk pricing. But, for the most part they are usually within a few dollars of each other. I'm surprised that there was that much difference. Thanks for the heads-up.

Malts are the main driver but you do find some big differences on random items here and there too. When I order I am usually ordering a bunch of specialty malts for mulitple brews.

I also do the side by side comparison. Unfortunately, On several recent order though I've had to order through NB, or even a couple of different places (and pay higher shipping) just to get the items I needed. Midwest is frequently out of items, especially equipment.
